Chris has been keeping reptiles since the age of 7 working with a large number of different species this has put him in good stead for running the animal side of the shop.
Chris is responsible for the animals chosen for the shop and each is usually hand picked by himself.
Over the years Chris has set up good relations with a number of top European breeders the quality of the animals can always be seen in the shop. Chris now concentrates on various captive breeding programme's most recent success being the breeding of Varanus prasinus more can be found on our (captive breeding page) Chris is also enthusiastic about venomous animals and runs our DWA section.
Tina was roped into the reptile world by her son Chris over 2 years ago starting off with no interest in reptiles at all
Tina quickly learnt the ins and outs of most species and anyone today would think she had been keeping for years. Tina has made sure the shop has kept running to a high level of quality keeping the shop to the highest levels of cleanliness this being a key factor that our shop is always noted for.
More recently Tina has become interested in the breeding programme's funding such projects as the Stimpsons and some odatria projects with her son too.
Adrian is our newest member of the Pilbara team starting with us a year ago at Rainforest Reptiles he quickly adapted to the Pilbara standard of husbandry and cleanliness and always makes sure our set ups are looking good and our livestock healthy.
Adrian has a real passion for all reptiles and is continually learning as much as he can about our livestock from the scientific names to care and breeding. Adrian’s biggest passions are the amphibians in particular the Horned (pacman) Frogs, having grown his own personal collection to an impressive size he hopes to breed them soon. Adrian is in charge of Pilbara’s amphibian section, he also has an interest in the DWA species and once he has more experience under his belt would love to work with these as well.
John has always been behind the scenes here at Pilbara Reptiles having a large interest in the captive breeding side of things, his main interest being the Carpet Pythons. John also attends many of the European shows each year.
All our staff have and specialise in different reptiles.
